I am LOVING the cool upholstered furniture from Anthropologie. A great way to add a little character to a not so lively room. I am always inspired when I walk into one of their unique stores.

An award-winning abode!

In honor of the Academy Awards this weekend, I thought I would feature this beautiful home which belongs to the Oscar winning actress, Halle Berry. I fell in love with this house when I first saw it featured on a real-estate site. It is currently listed for $5 million. Located in Beverly Hills, this Mediterranean-style home has magnificent gardens, fountains and intricate ironwork throughout. A perfect place to display an Oscar for Best Actress!

Painted Provincial

Check out the newest addition to The Brushed Bureau (space 360). This hand-painted 6-drawer chest is part of the Bassett vintage French Provincial collection. I love these old pieces from the 50s and 60s because they are well constructed from solid oak or walnut which means they are almost non-destructive.
