Josephine

I fell in love with this piece while I was painting it a hot pink color. I nicknamed it "Josephine" because it reminded me of Josephine Baker during the roaring 1920s...fun, feminine, art deco and stylish. However, I did tone the color down with a dark wax finish. I also painted the inside of the drawers a light green/gray color and replaced the hardware with off-white ceramic flower shaped knobs. "Josephine" is sitting pretty in the Park Rd. store and ready for a new home!

New kids on the block

I have been a little slack on updating new available furniture so I thought I would take the time and do a quick post. These are all smaller pieces but big on style. For more info, please e-mail me or contact the stores (contact info on right column).

Going green in Georgia

Can you believe it is that time of year again for HGTV to unveil their 2012 Green Home? I am really excited this year because this home is just a couple of hours (driving distance) to Charlotte which is my home base. The 2012 HGTV Green Home is a 2,300-square-foot Modern Farmhouse which meets the LEED certified requirements. You can register to win this fabulous home on the HGTV site.
