August in the Carolinas

August in the Carolinas? I know it's still June so I'm not referring to the month of August. I'm writing about furniture and textile designer, Lillian August and her beautiful NC house that she decorated for friends and family to stay while attending the furniture market in High Point. What lucky friends and family! The house was recently featured in Traditional Home. I found the article while flipping through the April '13 issue and fell in LOVE with the light colored distressed finished furniture and romantic accessories, including the beautiful Italian chandelier. This house has a lot of light due to the many windows but the furnishings complete the romantic, relaxed and "happy" atmosphere.
