A new addition to the store....a sweet little vanity desk with chair named "Gwyndolyn". I usually do not name my finished pieces but I spent a lot of time on this desk so I felt inclined. "She" had great lines and good bones and was begging for a much needed makeover so I decided to rescue her from an antique auction. "Gwynie" has a fresh coat of ASC French Linen (gray) and heavily distressed finish. I kept the original hardware intact and papered the drawer. She also has side drop leaves which can be expanded for extra work space. Gwyndolyn is now for sale at the Sleepy Poet and ready for a new home!
